Matthew Schwab
CEO
Mr. Schwab is an acclaimed exploration geologist located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where his work over the past decade has contributed to the discovery and development of multiple significant uranium deposits. Most recently Mr. Schwab was the CEO of Kraken Energy Corp. In 2014, while Mr. Schwab was the Senior Exploration Geologist at NexGen Energy Ltd. he was instrumental in the discovery of the Arrow uranium deposit located in the southwestern Athabasca Basin. Mr. Schwab was also a member of the Hathor Exploration Ltd. development team and contributed to the sale of the Roughrider deposit to Rio Tinto for $654M in 2012. Prior roles also include being co-founder and SVP of Axiom Exploration Group Ltd., former President, Senior Advisor and Founder of multiple successful private mineral exploration and E&P consulting firms in Canadian mining and petroleum industries.
Darren Slugoski
VP Exploration Canada
Mr. Slugoski holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan and has over a decade of mineral exploration experience. The majority of his experience has been focused on uranium exploration in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, with a specific focus on the world class Patterson Lake trend, where he has extensive experience in managing and developing exploration programs. This experience centres around Mr. Slugoski's involvement in the discovery of the Spitfire deposit in the Western Athabasca Basin.
Paulo Santos
CFO
Mr. Santos is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia with over 20 years of extensive accounting, auditing, regulatory, public company, and mergers and acquisitions experience in the mining industry. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Simon Fraser University. Mr. Santos has previously held various senior executive financial roles within the mining industry, including recent appointments as the CFO for Elevation Gold Mining Corporation, the Interim CFO and VP, Finance at Calibre Mining Corp, the CFO for Northern Empire Resources Corporation, and the Treasurer and Corporate Secretary for Newmarket Gold Inc. He is also currently the CFO for StrikePoint Gold Inc.
Kelly Pladson
Corporate Secretary
Mrs. Pladson has provided corporate governance and regulatory compliance services for many TSX Venture and CSE listed companies since 2009. She works closely with the company’s CEO and legal counsel in maintaining corporate records, managing the day to day operations and ensuring the company’s filings with the securities commissions and exchanges are accurately filed and in accordance with their deadlines.
